This original design has been my "go-to" gift for little girls since I made the first two for my daughters a decade ago. It's quick, easy and fun to make. And it doesn't require much fabric either - just a FQ and a F8.

This pattern includes a few basic embellishing ideas, but you can let your creativity fly as you come up with interesting combinations of patchwork and decorative details to suit the recipient ~ and yourself. :)
